Creating these stories is rewarding but hard, time consuming, costly. Your help is what makes it even possible. Creators have to believe. You help me do that. Thank you.

Danny (sorry, Daniel’s) first day on the job as a Detective in Metro gets off to a rough start.
The first half of my 49 part audiobook for ‘Alliance Marines: The Road to War’ is back online for Multiverse/All access and First Wave/Early access patrons. The second half will be up before Hallowe’en.
I’m planning to re-release it in Kindle and Audible this year but for now you can’t get it in Kindle or Audible at all, only as my Patron. Which I think is kinda cool 🙂
Hey Patrons ‘n listeners! What’d you think of the Sherrod Declaration (or the last free podcast)?
Next up? Winter Belt jumps back into your feeds!
But first, I need to get some thoughts on where to take my publishing/crowdfunding next.
Farlost playing card game digital & physical reward?
Patron-only fiction that never goes out to Audible or Kindle?
Option X: *that’s your cue to tell me* 🙂
PATRONS IN THE HOUSE
To create more fiction, more exclusives and some physical reward, I’ll need more patrons.
On average ‘content’ (ugh, hate that word) on my website alone sees 15,000 unique hits a month. I’d like to convince 1% of that number (150) to become patrons. Having patronage goals to aspire to seems to help build momentum, and this is where I’m starting.
Some of you ask how to help, and some of you just want the goods or to send me a private ‘nice job’ email every once in a while. Whichever you are, it’s cool with me, it’s very cool in fact that you dig my stuff.
If you want to do something more to help, reviews or just stars are one way.
Another way–ONLY if there’s someone you think will like this in particular–you can help is by passing on your recommendation along with a link to the free podcast or to becoming a patron.

BACK TO WORK, WRITER MONKEY!
Okay, okay, sheesh! I’m now turning off the harsh realities of needing money, turning on the writing side of my brain. Stay tuned for more Farlost!
60 Episodes. SIXTY! Now THAT’s a Binge!
I had a lot of fun re-releasing this podcast for patrons (the first ten are also playing along with other stories, free & complete, in the podcast). I hope you enjoyed the re-listen…or was it your first time listening?
I was nervous some of you would be annoyed by hearing a 4 year old ‘re-run’ story (I hope the five new Farlost: Signals episodes I launched before ‘Arrival’ took the sting out of it if that describes you 🙂
Now I’m through, listening along with you, I’m glad I did it.
For some of you, it’s all about the stories. For others it’s about getting the scoop behind the stories, communicating with me, or extra perks.
I want this to be a community where everybody gets something out of supporting me. I’m working on new Farlost: Winter Belt and planning something different for October/Hallowe’en.
In the meantime, thank you for listening (my numbers say a heckuva lot of you did!). So, let me know if this was a first time listen, a ‘re-watch’ experience, and hit me up with questions, conspiracy theories, comments, whatever.
I love seeing people buy my books or audiobook titles…but first and foremost it’s you folks listening along live, that I have in mind as I write.
Thanks again for being here!

After the Farlost Arrival marathon, The Winter Belt will return. That’s one Epic premiere. This website is another. Both kind of sum up where I am as a writer and storyteller right now.
This is a public post for all my readers & listeners, an end-of-summer check-in from me to you & a place for Patrons to leave me their thoughts & feedback on the work, the site, the patron-RSS feed, whatever’s in your heads, folks!
More after the jump. Continue reading
